Requesting a visit
Use the request form on this site to ask for a visit. Tell us which appliance needs attention, where in the Bay Area it is installed, and what it is doing. We read each request, confirm the details with you, and arrange a time that suits you. The technician diagnoses first, then gives you a written estimate, and nothing is repaired until you say yes.
Hours
We take requests Monday through Saturday, from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Requests that arrive outside those hours are answered when we reopen.
What to have ready
A few details make the first conversation faster and the visit more useful.
- The appliance type and where it is installed, such as a built-in grill on a roof deck or a DishDrawer in a kitchen island.
- The model number. It is usually on a label near the door frame, inside the cabinet wall, under the control panel or behind the kickplate. The model number guide shows typical places.
- The exact error code or beep pattern, written down as it appears. You can compare it with the error code library.
- What happened just before the problem began, such as a power cut, a storm, a move or a recent cleaning.
- Whether the appliance runs on natural gas or a propane tank, if it is a gas model.
- Any access notes: stairs to a roof deck, a gated side yard, parking limits or a building that needs advance notice.
Before you send the request
A quick outside check sometimes solves the problem. Confirm the appliance has power, the breaker and any GFCI outlet have not tripped, the gas valve is open, and doors or drawers close fully. On outdoor equipment, make sure vents and grilles are clear of leaves and webs. If you smell gas, leave the area, do not touch switches, and call the gas utility or 911 from outside. For a propane grill, close the tank valve first. For common symptoms, the common problems index has step-by-step articles.

Answers before you ask
A few common questions before service.

Yes. We provide an upfront estimate after diagnosis. No parts are ordered or installed until you approve the work, so there are no surprise charges.
Replacement parts are selected for the exact model and confirmed with you before ordering or installation.
