Error code15
ApplianceRefrigerator
Fan trouble in the refrigerator section
When the DCS refrigerator reports code 15, the refrigerator fan has an issue. The warning comes through the alarm, as a series of beeps, or through the LEDs, which flash in a binary pattern. It is never shown as a line of text.
Applies to
ActiveSmart indoor integrated refrigerators in the RS/RF series.
What to do
Silence the alarm with the mute button if you own an ActiveSmart unit.
Refrigerator repair, San Francisco and the Bay Area
Technician bookings for the Bay Area, San Francisco included, run through (415) 969-2271; DCS refrigerator repair gives an overview. On the call, quote code 15 and the model number, and say if the mute button helped.
Model compatibility: DCS reuses codes across series and model years, so 15 may mean something different on another appliance or generation. Confirm this against your model’s documentation and record your full model number before acting.
